Some of the greatest jazz legends have lived in Southern Queens. Some top jazz luminaries such as Fats Waller, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, and Mercer Ellington all had homes in our area (just to name a few).Jazz is now an international acclaimed art form with even more popularity outside the US. However, world class jazz is still alive and well in our community.
