Jazz Tributes to James Brown and Latin Jazz

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our last jazz session at Jackson Room last Saturday night.  It was a magical event. Those who missed it missed a treat!

The Jackson Bros band showcased their exceptional musical skills as usual and we even saw them do a musical tribute to James Brown. Dave Jackson also explained the history of the roots of the Latin Jazz and the Quartet demonstrated it with the song "I'll Never Go Back to Georgia".  Here's a link to one of the earlier jazz jams at the Jackson Room.

Our next Jazz session will be April 27th, 2013.  You gotta check it out. Jazz finally has an underground home in Queens at Jackson Room.
