Ed Jackson Brings World Class Jazz Band to St. Albans Queens



On June 29th, 2013 world renown saxophonist Ed Jackson, has assembled an All Star Quartet to showcase their talents at the new Jackson Room, jazz club in St. Albans, Queens, New York. Ed is just back from a jazz tour throughout London with the Legendary Fatback Band.

Ed Jackson is also the producer of his highly regarded jazz album Colors.  His band known as the Ed Jackson Quartet, features a world class group of jazz musicians.

The musical lineup for June 29th, 2013 features the incomparable Ed Jackson on sax, the talented Essiet O Essiet on bass (who is just back from a major music tour in Europe), the gifted James Weidman on Piano (recently back from a Moscow jazz festival), and the riveting Lionel Cordew on drums.          

If you haven't checked out jazz in St. Albans, at the trendy and intimate Jackson Room jazz club you're missing some great collaborations in jazz music. Treat yourself and loved ones to a beautiful evening of improvisational jazz music at this quaint and elegant jazz hall.

The performances will be Saturday, June 29th 2013. There will be two shows at 8 pm and 10 pm respectively.
