Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church is hosting a Free Special Encore
Performance of the highly acclaimed "Sounds of Brazil" performances
with the world class jazz ensemble the Ed Jackson Quartet. Ed Jackson is a legendary jazz musician who plays the saxophone with extraordinary aplomb.
Jackson traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, over the summer. Ed was so
inspired by the many great musicians, that he performed with there, that
he decided the theme for his next gig would be "Sounds of Brazil." Sounds of Brazil, will take place on Sat, December 21st at 5 pm..
We believe you'll also appreciate the Brazilian influence on Jazz music
as well. Attend Sounds of Brazil, December 21st, 2013, at 5 pm at
Brooks Memorial. Come out and be soulfully renewed with this captivating
performance of cross cultural jazz next Saturday.
