The Jazz Collective Brings it Home!

I am elated over our recent high charged performance in celebration of the life and music of the legendary John Coltrane at Jackson Room.  It was a well attended event and the joint was certainly jumping.

Now let's keep the same powerful energy moving forward with our next performance which will take place on Saturday,  October, 25th, 2014 with the homegrown jazz prodigy, Rasheed Howard and his musical vision, "The Jazz Collective".

I've known Rasheed for over 30 years now and have been playing in his creative jazz collaborative The Jazz Collective for the last 15 years. Therefore, it is only natural in this regard that this last Saturday's Month's End Jazz Motivations feature this dynamic group.

Rasheed is also known for his incredible trademark ability to play two trumpets at the same time!  Yep, you read that right!

Come on out and experience this labor of love and sharing in jazz collaboration.

The featured musicians for this jazz presentation will be:

Rasheed Howard -  Trumpet & Flugel horn

David Picton - Piano

Nate Brown - Upright Bass Violin

George Grey - Drums

And Yours truly Ed Jackson
