We hope you enjoyed your summer and had time to relax in the sunshine a bit with your friends, family, and loved ones. While summer may be waning don't worry.
There are still exciting things to do with those special in your life. One of the events you can look forward to take advantage of this month is the Month's End Jazz Motivations at Jackson Room on September 28th 2013. We're still focused on "bringing world class music to our community."
After being in Rio for the past 3 weeks I am happy to be back home in NY. I was so inspired by the many great musicians that I performed with there that I decided the theme for my next gig at Jackson Room on Sat, Sept 28th will be "Sounds of Brazil".
I believe you'll also appreciate the Brazilian influence on Jazz music as well I'm sure if you attend Sounds of Brazil, September 28th, 2013, in one of the shows at either 8pm or 10pm. Come out and be soulfully renewed with this captivating performance of cross cultural jazz the last Saturday of this month.
The Performers for "Sounds of Brazil" in this Month's End Jazz Motivations are:
- Drummer Willie Martinez leader and vocalist of the Popular La Familia Sextet
- Master Bassist Ron Monroe who has recorded on my CD "Chapter 2". We also worked together extensively in Monte Carlo last summer.
- Pianist Nial Djuliarso an active player on the NY Scene and Soon Leaving to perform in Indonesia.
- Saxophonist, Yours Truly, Ed Jackson Just Back from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Don't miss the September Sounds of Brazil Musical Performances at Jackson Room jazz club. It promises to be an absorbing collaboration of cross cultural jazz sets.
Our outreach and popularity in the community has grown over 50% in the last 6 months so Reservations Now are Strongly Suggested to attend...
