"Sounds of Brazil" Promises to be a Great Queens New York Jazz Cross Cultural Collaboration

Due to an overwhelming response for our Month’s End Jazz Motivation “Sounds of Brazil”  on September 28th, 2013 at 8 pm and 10 pm. Please come early even if you have a reservation.

This promises to be an extraordinary cross cultural jazz collaboration. Our performers for the evening are...

- Master Bassist Ron Monroe, who has performed & recorded with me extensively. We also worked together in Monte Carlo last summer for 6 weeks.

- Drummer Willie Martinez is leader and vocalist of the popular La Familia Sextet. He also recorded with me on my 2nd CD release "Chapter 2".

 - Pianist Nial Djuliarso is an active player on the NY Scene who also plays in Winard Harpers Band. He will be leaving us October 1 to work extensively in Indonesia. I strongly suggest not to miss this young dynamic player.

Saxophonist Ed Jackson Just Back from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Don’t miss the September Sounds of Brazil Musical Performances at Jackson Room jazz club.  It promises to be a soul stirring group of jazz sets. To RSVP go to: Jackson Room
